Why can't I preview the original HEIC file?
Most browsers can't natively display HEIC images, so the "before" preview is skipped — but the conversion itself works regardless.
Why does this need an extra library to load?
Browsers don't include built-in HEIC decoding, so this tool loads a small open-source decoding library from a CDN the first time you use it.
